True love starts with being whole as a human before sharing that wholeness with those around you. Perimenopause and menopause are transitions—a time of wisdom, change, and renewal. Accepting this shift through self-love and giving your body what it needs is the greatest gift you can offer yourself.

My Journey Begins
When we moved to the UK from South Africa seven years ago, I was 42, exhausted, and re-establishing life with two toddlers. The signs of adrenal burnout and early perimenopause were there, though I didn’t recognize them at first.
I was tired during the day but wired at night, wide awake at 11 p.m., unable to sleep. Exercise left me depleted instead of energised. I experienced bone pain, heart palpitations, and intense hot flashes that started at my heart and rose to my head. My body was calling for help.
Finding Healing Through Kinesiology
Kinesiology became my lifeline. I first discovered it during my second pregnancy after struggling with postpartum blues. My first session felt like a system reset—balancing my nervous system, hormones, and overall wellbeing. This is when I chose to study this incredible form of holistic healing to uncover the mysteries it held.
Years later, as my perimenopause symptoms worsened, I turned to kinesiology again. Muscle testing revealed my thyroid was struggling, mimicking perimenopausal symptoms. Addressing adrenal fatigue, balancing hormones, and supporting my body with targeted supplements made all the difference.
